Tonight I lie here in my bed thinking of what's to come
as the lights of Miami shine to the foreign shore of tomorrow.
We will enter, but the little I know isn't even how.
Special papers? You could say so.
I say it's something else…
Tomorrow, I enter a country that I am not welcome.
Tomorrow, I enter Cuba.
A few facts that we as Americans know about Cuba:
1) The Cuban Missile Crisis
2) Cuban Cigars
3) Communist Country – Fidel Castro
4) Many Cubans try to escape Cuba's grip for America
5) Americans nor their trade are allowed in Cuba
Tomorrow, I land foot on the shores of a country "stuck in the 50s", under a powerful communist regime, and not tolerant of Christian "ideology".
I don't know much,
but nonetheless, I go.
11 men travel from the USA to Cuba to partner with God in His work.
11 men join in to build His local Body.
11 men go.
What it will look like, I don't know, but I know it will be good.
Pray for our team as we disappear from the grid for 6 days into a sea of red and breathe the breath of God on that which is already His – Cuba.
We (The Body (my team's church) has been to Cuba before) will be partnering with a rural church, helping with some minor construction, as well as putting on some first-time sports camps in that part of the country. The men are ready and excited to see what the Lord will do and so am I.
Jump in with us.
