The Spirit of God comes over me at times that are simply undeniable and it "messes me up".

Last night, I woke in the middle of the night and heard song.

As I came to, I noticed it was me.

I was loudly singing, "praise flows from my lips onto the feet of you my King" over and over again. I would fall back asleep and every time I would wake, I was unknowingly (to my brain) proclaiming, "praise flows from my lips onto the feet of you my King!"

Sometimes our circumstances tell our flesh,

"There is no reason to praise Him right now – look at yourself."

But the Spirit of God fights for us – even in our sleep.

His deep communicates to my deep.

My spirit says to my flesh,

"Praise Him Colby!

You have every reason to praise Him.

You are dearly loved,

and your God is bigger than your circumstance!

Let it flow..."

Today, my spirit cries out,

and my flesh follows...
