For the past four days, I have been stuck.
I can't seem to get past these words:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul,
and with all your strength,
and with all your mind,
and your neighbor as yourself."
Do you know the implications of these words?
Love with all?
Yes, all.
If I love God with all that I am, life would be a bit different wouldn't it?
A lawyer, a very smart and prestigious man, came to Jesus and asked,
"What do I have to do to inherit eternal life?"
Jesus asked him, "What is written in the law? How does it read to you?"
The above was his response.
God wants us to return His love to Him.
This is pure worship; to sing the song He first sang into us right back to Him.
God desires to romance all of our passions, everything at our core – all of our heart.
His heart is to capture all of our emotions – all of our soul.
He wants us to give in love, all of our physical being – all of our strength.
He yearns for our every thought – all of our mind.
And He seeks for us to give it away freely and graciously to those surrounding us.
Just think for one second if you gave all.
If you gave all of your body,
all of your passion,
all of your emotion,
all of your mind to Him,
how powerful would that be?
How full of a life would you lead?
How incredible the impact to freely give it to those around us!
Jesus responded to the man, "Do this and you will live."
I don't know about you, but I don't mind being stuck on something so heavy and life altering when put to action.
I want to have ALL of Him.
I want to give ALL.
I want to love with ALL of me.
