You know from children that asking questions is the number one way of gathering information and learning. I ask questions like a child, still.

One of my favorite questions to ask is, "What's on your mind?" I want to know what you're thinking… or do I?

Yesterday, we sat with a church full of leadership and, of course, they wanted to know what a Church to Church partnership is, so naturally we told them. Then we asked my favorite question….

They were hesitant to begin, so I hollered out, "Now, come on y'all, I know y'all've got something!"

See the following to dive into a Haitian heart:

"With this partnership, what is your ultimate purpose and goal?"

"What should you expect of us Haitians in this partnership?"

"What type of ministries are in your church?"

"You can easily come to Haiti, but Haitians have not even a small window of opportunity to visit you. How are we going to bridge that gap?"

"We see you are all old. Do you have young people in your church?"

"If you partner with us, are you going to help us out and then tell us how to preach and what to preach as if you own us?" (This evidently happens a lot.)

"Are you going to be a church that comes and makes a bunch of big promises and leaves?"
